This year the club awarded money to the GT Regional Land Conservancy for the Mitchell Creek Native Habitat Restoration for $1,000.

These projects vary from year to year but our goal is to encourage the development of local educational youth programs in our Traverse City community.   This year a total of $8,800 was awarded to four different nonprofit organizations to help support them in their educational projects.  This is another opportunity for our club to give back to our community.

The Grand Traverse District Incubator Farm for Sustainable Farming  for Adult Education was awarded $5,000.  This award was presented to Director Koffi Kpachavi.

The Interlochen Library received a grant for $1,800 to establish raised beds and to purchase dirt and plants.  This will allow underserved kids to learn how to plant, grow, and take home food throughout the growing season.  The children will also be introduced to plant nutrition as well.
