Citronella Workshop--April 27, 2024
The Friendly Garden Club presented a free workshop at The Botanic Garden about propagation using citronella cuttings. Janet and her grandson, Leo, helped demonstrate and explain each process to the children. Each child had the opportunity to learn about plant parts, plant a citronella pot, plus a cutting to watch grow at home. We enjoyed our time working with the children.
We planted a Dwarf Ginkgo Biloba Tree on Arbor Day at the Children's Sensory Garden in honor of Mark Polinko for all his in-kind work designing the Children's Sensory Garden--April 26, 2024

November Meeting
At our November meeting our club constructed seasonal tabletop decorations which were delivered to a local nonprofit group that will be providing a holiday meal to the community.
