The Friendly Garden Club
of Traverse City

For many years in the past our club has supported our veterans by attending Memorial Day celebrations.   Since many of our club members had relatives in the armed forces, our club felt it was important that we recognize our veterans in some official manner.   In 2016 we had an opportunity, thanks to The Botanic Garden, to create and maintain a Blue Star Memorial site.  Hence the Blue Star Memorial at The Botanic Garden was created.
